Introduction: The current Incident Command System (ICS) was developed to manage wildland fires, then adopted by general firefighting. It has since been adapted multiple other sectors and widely used. Hospital Emergency (HICS) introduced in 1991. An ICS currently is required be used for hospital incident management the US. overarching structure of traditional HICS consists Staff (Incident Commander, Public Information Officer, Safety Liaison Officer Medical/Technical Specialist) General Staff. Sections consisting Operations, Planning, Logistics Finance/Administration. Multiple flexible subgroups carry out processes these areas. This does not adapt easily daily functions alternatives have proposed. includes structuring around essential mixed models. Over time systems become larger, incidents more complex sustained.
